Proper preparation is essential to ensuring a comfortable and safe tattoo session. To help your skin and body be ready for our time together, I recommend following this checklist:
- Nourish your body: Please make sure to eat a substantial meal and stay hydrated at least two hours before your appointment.
- Rest and recovery: Avoid consuming alcohol or drugs the night before, as these can affect your body's sensitivity and the quality of the session.
- Skin care: Please avoid tanning or applying fake tan to the tattoo area prior to your visit.
- Extra preparation: If you’d like to go the extra mile, I recommend moisturizing the area more actively for a full week leading up to your appointment.
After the session, I will wash your tattoo with alcohol-free soap, apply a healing ointment, and cover it with a sterile dressing. When you arrive home, follow the same process. Keep the tattoo lightly moisturized with the healing ointment to avoid dryness, which can lead to scabbing and healing problems. After about 1.5 weeks, you can stop using the healing agents, and your tattoo will be healed completely.
No. For the health and safety of you and your child, I do not recommend getting a tattoo if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The risk of infection is higher in these cases, and it's essential to prioritize the health of both you and your child.
Yes, please bring a government-issued identity document that displays your name and date of birth, such as a passport or driver's license. This is a mandatory requirement and helps us verify your identity and age.
